The game is set up from the perspective of a controller, looking at a radar screen of the airport. Your goal is to park and takeoff planes safely and on time without causing too many collisions. The airfield is fairly large with several runways and has a terminal and a control tower. The airport is divided into four quadrants, each with several runways that can be used to land planes and also have taxiways and bays where planes can be parked. The ATC is your main focus throughout the game. Different planes are colored in different ways to help you distinguish them. The various types of planes on the field include large jumbo jets, small airplanes, turboprop planes, helicopters, and a large hangar with an airplane inside that can be used to park. Planes can be parked in several different bays throughout the airport. The planes can be repaired, refueled and cleaned before the game starts. If you get too many problems while operating an aircraft in the field, you can also request help from the airport terminal. The terminal also offers a high-level security service that can be used to lock down the entire airport for a limited time. The terminal is also your path to the aircraft on the field.
